EXODUS Apparels (“EXODUS”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
We handle personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
1. Who we are
EXODUS Apparels is a women’s leather clothing brand. Our garments are made in Pakistan and shipped to customers in New Zealand, selling online at https://exodusapparels.nz/

We do not collect or store your card details. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive only a confirmation of payment and the last four digits of the card.
3. A note on your measurements
If you order a custom-fit garment you will give us body measurements. We treat these as personal information and handle them with the same care as your contact details.
They are used only to cut your garment, shared only with the workshop making it, and retained so we can reproduce your fit on future orders. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

Delivering your order requires sending some of your personal information outside New Zealand.

Under Information Privacy Principle 12 of the Privacy Act 2020, we only send your information overseas where we are satisfied the recipient is subject to comparable privacy safeguards, or where you have authorised the disclosure. We require our partners by contract to protect your information and to use it only for the purpose we supplied it.
We never sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

7. Keeping it secure
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted staff access, and vetted third-party processors.
No system is completely secure. If a privacy breach occurs that is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner as required by the Privacy Act 2020.
8. How long we keep it
- Order and payment records — seven years, as required by New Zealand tax law
- Measurements — retained so we can reproduce your fit, until you ask us to delete them
- Marketing contacts — until you unsubscribe
- Website analytics — 2026
9. Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct anything inaccurate
- Withdraw consent to marketing at any time
- Ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep
Contact our Privacy Officer using the details in Section 1. We will respond within 20 working days, as the Act requires.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner — privacy.org.nz, or 0800 803 909.
10. Marketing
We only send marketing email if you have opted in. Every message includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately. This is consistent with the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007.
Order confirmations, dispatch notices and support replies are not marketing and will still be sent.
11. Children
Our website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. The “last updated” date above will change, and material changes will be notified by email or a notice on the website.
